GENERAL FAQs

How does Style Hire Namibia work?

1) Find it: Choose the perfect dress rental for your specific date range. Options are chosen by different styles, length, and colour, or even need by date. We stock an array of local designer dresses. It’s all up to you!

2) Reserve it: Select a “start date” one day prior to your event date and your dress will arrive to you on or prior to your specified date. Please be specific in the comment box section when placing your order. The rental agreement consists of 2 day or a 4-day period but may extend for an additional cost.

3) Return it: Enjoy the dress for your special event and look Radiant! When you are finished using the gown place it in the return package provided with a fixed return label. Postage item tracking or waybill number, name and surname of hirer, and name of dress must be WhatsApp’d/SMS to +264 81 3375 872or emailed to info@stylehirenamibia.com. Waybill or tracking number will be provided by Nampost or by the arranged courier company at the time of delivery.

. Each return label has a tracking number which will allow Style Hire Namibia to track the order and the status of the deliverypackage.

Why rent a dress instead of buying?

Purchasing dresses for a rare occasion instead of renting can be quite daunting. Style Hire Namibia wants to give you the opportunity to look radiant for your special events with our dress rentals. Style Hire Namibiagives you the flexibility to rent unique designer dresses that not only make you feel beautiful and keep up with the latest trends but can be done at a fraction of the cost.

Can I reserve dresses for a future date?

We accept advance bookings for up to 7 days. Simply select your start date to the day you would like your dress to arrive by. Payment must be made in full.

What are your trading hours?

Trading hours are:

Mondays – Fridays: 09h00 –19h00

Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays: 09h00 – 14h00

What are the conditions of the inventory?

Style Hire Namibia garments arecleaned, steamed thereafter and inspected before every shipment. We hold a high standard in reliability when it comes to fulfilling the needs of our customers. 

Where can I fit the dresses?
  • Free fittings of up to 5 dresses given at our site, prearrangements should be notified to us on +264 81 337 5872.
  • We offer 1 hour out-call dress fitting fee for N$350 for up to 5 dresses only. Bookings to be prearranged.
  • 5 dresses will be subject to fitting fee on/off site for N$350 and thereafter N$150 per dress in addition from the 6th
What if the dress does not fit?

Please come in for fittings prior to rental. If you are not able to come in for fittings, please send someone who is of similar size to fit in your behalf. No refunds for incorrect sizes are available for our dress rentals.

What about stains or damages to the dress?

We understand there are circumstances under which certain wear and tear cannot be avoided. Style Hire Namibiaused the deposit ofN$250dress damage fee that covers ONLY minimal wear and tear. Significant damages or stains to the garment will result in charges to the deposit, credit card on file to cover the cost of the repair, or even full replacement of the garment. More information can be found in our Rental Agreement.

Can any garment be used in water?

No. Due to high risk of full damage to the dress due to water stains, mud, and mold. Full damage is subject to 100% full retail price of the garment.

DELIVERY

What are my delivery options?

We use Nampost for all courier services across the country. Please have your parcel brought to the specified mailing carrier on your return label. Residents in Windhoek can choose to get their dresses picked up from us or we can arrange delivery with our delivery staff at your preferred location and time.

Standard Shipping: Dress will arrive a day before your start date, unless advised otherwise.

Rush Shipping: Dress will arrive 1-2 days prior to your start date excluding /

What are my shipping costs?
  • Delivery fees starts from N$250 on dresses and accessories nationwide, except Windhoek. The N$250 shipping feeincludes shipping labels to and from location; and it’s based on the weight of the dress that averages between 1-5kg.
  • One Way Pick up and drops offs in Windhoek are subject to a delivery fee from N$90.
  • Orders over N$1500 are subject to free delivery.

All shipping labels are non-refundable.

RETURN

What if I return the dress late or not at all?

If the item gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the customer then the customer will be liable to pay for replacement of the item. In assessing the replaceable value, SHN will take into account, the demand of that dress in the market, the availability to purchase that dress in the market, the condition of the dress, and the rental fee that the customer has already made. Charges can be up to 100% of the recommended retail value in addition to the rental cost that the customer has already paid.

What if I lose the return package/label?

If the return package with return label have been lost, a new one will need to be purchased at your own cost. Failure to provide NEW tracking number will result in the date of arrival at Style Hire Namibiawill be considered the received date and not the date of shipment. Please be aware that late fees will apply if orders are not received upon agreed return date.

Do I need to clean the dress before I return it?

No, every dress will be fully inspected and properly cleaned by our team once it has been received.

 

What if I lose or never return the dress?

If the dress is never returned for any circumstance the fee of 100% purchase price of a new gown will be charged towards your Credit Card.
